Design of Ternary ALU using Carbon Nano Tube Field Effect transistor

چکیده

This paper presents effective design of ternary ALU using Carbon Nano tube Field effect transistor (CNTFET) atv32 nm technology. Ternary logic is possible substitutes to traditional binary logic, because more number operation can performed using ternary logic as compare to binary logic due to this possible to achieve simplicity and energy efficient inrecent digital logic design due to reduced circuit interconnects and chip area in the circuit. Ternary ALU is design using ternary logic in Carbon Nano tube Field effect transistor. This ALU perform logical and Arithmetic operation. The logical operation like Inversion, NAND, NOR AND, OR and Arithmetic operations addition, subtraction multiplication. As this ALU design using ternary logic the area required is less and power consumption of this ALU is low because design using CNTFET.ALU design using Stanford University 32 nm CNTFET model and output result is observed in HSPICE.
